Last week from 5 to 7 July, I went to Bandung with my family for a holiday trip. I stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. This is the first time I took my permission leave because I already passed my 1 year probabation at the office :D Apparently, oridusartic also went there on the same day.
It only took 2 hours to got there right on lunch time, the toll road was not really packed maybe because people would go there after election day so they can have a long weekend from Wednesday. When we got there, we headed straight to our favourite restaurant, Mak Uneh. We always go here everytime we visit Bandung. It is located in a small alley in Jalan Pajajaran (near RS Melinda). My favourite dishes from this resto is Pepes Tahu :p Their lalapan is also fresh. I don’t know why but Bandung’s cabbage is really crispy. Me likey! It’s delicious :p
After filling our stomach, we searched our hotel. We’ve never stayed in this hotel before. So it’s kinda hard to locate the hotel. We stayed in Aston in Jalan Braga. We relied on google maps.Although the google map application is really smart we still got lost. hehehe :P Finally we reached Jalan Braga. And when I spotted the street, I knew it! This is the street that I’m looking. It has old buildings along the street. Remind me of daerah Stasiun Kota in Jakarta. Spotted people taking photos, cafes, night clubs, bule :p Too bad I didn’t get a change to take a photo ;A; I’ll definitely go here again if I go with my friends.
Finally we found the hotel but the room is not ready yet -.-“zzzz So dad decided to go out, went to Kartika Sari and then Factory Outlets near that area. Had rujak buah. Then back to hotel again and the room is ready. The hotel is fine. Similiar to our room when we’re in Bali (also stayed in Aston Bali) but this one is bigger. 3 rooms, 2 toilets, 1 kitchen, and 1 dining room. PLUSSS…. FREE INTERNET ACCESS!! woohoooo xD The plan was to work on my freelance project but of course it’s a BIG FAILED since I use the laptop mostly for checking mails only and playing facebook. hehehe
For dinner, we went to Food Market in Pasir Kaliki. It’s an open space food court with various choise of food. Since I never had Mie Kangkung before, I had that for dinner and also Jagung Bakar serut :3
That’s all for day 1. To be continued :p Oh, one note from my twitter on that day,
