On our last day in Korea, my friend wanted to go to YG Building. Since we didn’t have anything to do that day I decided to go along. It’s a bit tricky to find the building because it’s not located in a business area. It’s hidden in the neighbourhood. It’s the hardest place to find after Jaejong’s Coffee Cojjee! lol.
Direction to YG Building
Take subway to Hapjeong Station (green line) and go to exit #8. Hapjeong station is in the same line with my area, so it’s easier to go there by subway! I love my guesthouse (Ann Guesthouse) xD perfect location!
After you exit the station, go to your right then just walk straight (go to the red sign on far right). Btw you’ll see SK gas station nearby too (let’s call it SK gas #1)
Continue walking straight until you see Hotel CIRCLE, SK Gas station #2, and 남경장 hotel next to each other. I had a hard time looking for Hotel Circle because it’s covered by some construction wall. Just keep walking straight alongside the main road.
You will see a lot of small alleys but keep left. YG building is alongside of the road (check the green sign I made). You can go to alley #1 but it’s a bit complicated to explain here.
Met 2 Japanese VIPs I think they’re lost too because they keep looking at the map. I almost called them to find it together. lol. Finally after walking around we found the building.
There’s a small mini mart in the corner, YG artists and dancers usually buy snacks at this minimart. I was waiting for my friend to enjoy her zen moment at the building so I decided to buy Jagabee (Salty Potato stick) for breakfast … yeah we didnt eat breakfast that morning, got sick of bread already.
Saw G-Dragon posters with his signature.
Apparently fans used to steal this posters so they write something like : YOU CAN TAKE PICTURES BUT NO STEALING POSTERS hahaha.
On our way back to the subway station, we met another VIPs who were on search of the building, when I passed them I sneered “GOOD LUCK ya mba nya”! hahahaha jk.
